Math Matrix Practice: Cramer's Rule for Systems

This app is primarily designed for teachers and students of math. Usually covered in an Algebra 2 or PreCalculus class.
For teachers, allows them to easily generate sample problems involving the solving of two equations simultaneously via matrices. This version solves these problems via the Cramer’s Rule method for 2x2 and 3x3 matrices.

For students, provides self-paced practice of the steps required to solve two equations using matrices and the Cramer’s Rule method.

This version allows them practice on 2x2 and 3x3 matrices which are selected via buttons.
The app walks the student through each step in the Cramer’s Rule method until X, Y and Z (and thus the equations) are solved. Detailed help screens remind them of the strategy to solve two equations using matrices and the Cramer’s Rule method.

For each question displayed, if they answer incorrectly, a hint for the question is displayed.

After the student has answered each question, the app gives them immediate feedback including the correct answer if they choose the wrong answer.

In all modes, the total number of question requested and the number answered correctly is displayed at the top of the screen.
